Brian Esuchanko is the Educational Technology Specialist for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) in Bethesda, MD. ASHP is the collective voice of pharmacists who serve as patient care providers in hospitals, health systems, ambulatory clinics, and other healthcare settings spanning the full spectrum of medication use. The organization’s more than 60,000 members include pharmacists, student pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians. For 80 years, ASHP has been at the forefront of efforts to improve medication use and enhance patient safety. He serves as the database administrator within the Office of Professional Development, overseeing the development, management, and execution of Cadmium products across four annual national conferences and various other educational offerings. This includes the Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition, which boasts more than 25,000 attendees and more than 500 speakers. ASHP currently uses the education harvester, scorecard, logistics, website, mobile app, and survey magnet.
